Jordan Brand Breaks New Ground With A PSG Collaboration

Images: JORDAN/PSG

Jordan Brand isn't new to Paris, but when the two come together they make magic. From the exclusive Jordan brick and mortar in Paris to the support of the Quai 45 streetball tournaments - the Jumpman has been putting in work on the Euro scene. Jordan Brand recently announced a partnership with the football club Paris Saint-Germain (AKA PSG).

Jordan is a global icon in basketball, but to see the brand expanding it's reach to soccer is a testiment to how timeless it has become. Honestly, I don't know too many people that don't rock with Js. Once the Jordan x PSG collaboration began to make news, the internet was definitely onboard. The collection features sneakers and apparel pieces that nod to the European football club along with street style and lifestyle vibes. One other feature was the campaign in Paris with our sneaker queen Aleali May, Les Twins, and even Wale was in the mix.

We’re excited to unite these two passionate communities by putting the Jumpman on the chest of Paris Saint-Germain to continue fueling the energy for sport and style globally,”

- MICHAEL JORDAN

The collection includes special edition kits (or jerseys) constructed out of Nike's Vaporknit Match. The Jordan x PSG collection keeps a clean black and white motif with hints of red - which pay homage to Jordan's iconic heritage. The pieces range from $80 USD - $275 USD depending on piece, and they flew off the shelves quickly. Given the buzz around the release of the Jordan x PSG Air Jordan V, the shoe sold out in minutes. Be on the look out for our MJ Mondays feature that will spotlight the upcoming Air Jordan 1 from the collection.
