Go Tailored with adidas Originals by HYKE’s SS16 Collection

Japanese label HYKE returns to the adidas Originals fold for a Spring/Summer 2016 collection of restructured sportswear staples designed for women. HYKE designers Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode add their own tailored aesthetic to both the footwear and apparel silhouettes.

Keeping it simple with white and navy, the new collection has a distinct retro adidas feel while sporty asymmetrical cuts channel the present. While I'd probably never get with the one sleeve sweatshirt movement (let's just be honest - I like two sleeves) there are quite a few pieces, including the short sleeve trefoil tailored sweatshirt above and the blue clutch below, that I could definitely see appealing to my closet sense. For those of you clamoring for the opportunity to nab a clutch or two, pre-launch will be held on March 9 in four adidas Originals flagship stores in Tokyo, followed by a wider release on March 16 via adidas' online shop and HYKE stockists worldwide.
